A life message if ever there was one. Any celebration requires cake, no matter what the size or event! Rebecca Jane Sugar Art cakes are artistic both in design and taste. All cakes generally stand at an impressive five inches tall (or higher if you like!) with multiple layers of cake and filling inside.
Cakes can be covered in either silky meringue-based buttercream, rich chocolate ganache, or fondant. We use New Zealand made Pettinice for our fondant covered cakes. It gives a perfect smooth canvas for creating elaborate eye-catching designs, and holds up well in the warmer months. Fondant cakes have a nice thick layer of chocolate ganache underneath so you know you aren't sacrificing flavour in the name of design.

Elderflower codial infused cake filled with berries and vanilla elderflower buttercream.
Spiced caramel date cake filled with caramel buttercream and salted caramel sauce.
Lemon raspberry cake filled with raspberry buttercream, passionfruit curd and white chocolate chunks.
Dark chocolate mud cake filled with Nutella buttercream, dark chocolate ganache and chopped chocolate.
Spiced caramel mud cake filled with rosewater buttercream, pistachios, freeze-dried raspberries and Turkish delight.
Cookies and Cream
Vanilla bean Oreo cake (or chocolate cake) filled with Oreo buttercream and dark chocolate ganache.
White Chocolate Plum Coconut
Coconut cake filled with white chocolate buttercream and freeze-dried plum.
Chocolate Salted Caramel
Dark chocolate mud cake filled with salted caramel buttercream, salted caramel and dark chocolate chunks. (Can be spiked with liqueur)
Caramel Carrot Deluxe
Carrot cake filled with chopped pecans, salted caramel buttercream and salted caramel sauce. Cream cheese filling upon request.
Apricot Vanilla Honey
Vanilla bean and roasted apricot cake soaked in J Friend & Co Beechwood Honeydew syrup and filled with vanilla honey buttercream and roasted apricot preserve.
All cake flavours can be made into mini sizes as required. Prices start from $4 each with a minimum order of one dozen.
Tender baked donuts available in custom colours and decor to suit your colour scheme. Prices start from $4 for regular (minimum one dozen), $2.50 for mini size (minimum two dozen).
Sugar cookies can be customised to suit your event and can be stored for weeks in an airtight container, or even frozen. Flavours include vanilla bean, orange cardamom, lemon and chocolate. Cookies are decorated with fondant or royal icing, and stamped or handpainted details. Prices start from $3.00 each with a minimum order of one dozen.
Sweets and Desserts
Gourmet petite sweets and desserts for dessert bars and catering. Meringue kisses, macarons, chocolate gems and shards, marshmallows, dessert cups, petit fours and so on. All sweets and desserts can be customised to match your event in both look and flavour. Sweets can also be designed and packaged for party favours or corporate events. A increasingly popular option for parties and events is the grazing table. A buffet style spread laden with seasonal fruits, cheeseboard items, and desserts which guests can help themselves to throughout your event. Rebecca can cater and style a grazing table for you that will be a feast for the eyes and the stomach! Fully customisable to suit your celebration.
